Thanks all! We'd love your feedback on the tutorial. It covers the first major concepts of the game, but we will be further enhancing it to cover more topics in upcoming releases.

Thanks all! We'd love your feedback on the tutorial. It covers the first major concepts of the game, but we will be further enhancing it to cover more topics in upcoming releases. I think it's utterly superb! Clearly a lot of effort has gone into the creation of it. It's not just a wall of text or a series of instructions, it's also accompanied by the excellent screenshots to visualise what the tutorial is telling you. Those little details, such as highlighting the CP area on the screenshot of the colony screen when discussing how construction works, to the straight forward explanation that your empires population will grow autonomously and you need hab units to keep up, are excellent. Going forward, games without a story mode which can also act as a tutorial need this kind of thing from the start. It makes a world of difference to a new player, and their review, to have the game feel accessible no matter the complexity of the content underneath. In short, brilliant work! Ooo, as a side note, it would be a nice little detail for the game introduction and the tutorial to check whether you are using factions, houses or clans and replace the fixed word 'faction' in the various texts with the appropriate one

mataeus - thank you! This was a major effort, and I'm glad to see it looks good to our veteran players

It looks a lot more professional, but still lacking ship design and combat

CdrPlatypus - yep, lots of expansions planned! This was a huge effort to get the new foundation in place. Iterative development -- get it out there, then iterate.

I did like seeing another advisor come in for the dialouge.
When you get to it how about the mechanic for ship design and the veteran for combat?
Would be really awesome to deeper link it to STRPG

I still don't know why the ships all face my advisor in the beginning. It kinda reminds me of a Youtube video that said something like "We take our orders from the Giant Finger in the Sky".
