What, exactly, happened 56 years before the start of the game, and why was it so important that they started dating from it? I mean, the birth of the latest prophet of Shalun? A massive Xeno attack? The first Cadar/Steel Song Torping Incident? Something vague and political? The first number that came into a Trese head?

The first Cadar/Steel Song Torping Incident? Something vague and political? The first number that came into a Trese head? But to give some answers to your questions - "the prophet Shalun" is a single person, not a string of prophets born. The date indicates 56 AE which stands for After-Event. The event in question is the dispersal of the great Templar fleet that had protected the Exodus. While some Templars stayed within the Quadrant of Star Traders RPG to provide active guard, it is believed that the main of the fleet spread out in a defensive action around the fledgling colonies of the new Quadrant. The great Exodus was over at last and the six factions of Star Traders RPG had settled their new home. Templar Assault shows the perspective of the Templars who are defending the ST Quadrant against rogue Star Traders, xenos, and Narvidian threats - struggling at every turn to overcome insane odds and protect the survivors of the Exodus. You can see a different perspective of these events unfolding in 4X Empires. The Star Traders stragglers who are scattered from the Exodus make the decision to stop and settle to start their own new Quadrants. They have fallen too behind the main fleet as well as the main Templar defensive fleet. With only a few Templars among them, they are left to fend for themselves and establish their new homeworlds. TA2 will give another perspective about the AE itself, as well as weaving the storyline toward ST2. A re-merging of these storylines will occur in ST2 where the hyperwarp gates have been opened and all of these disparate Quadrants are re-connected. See the ST 2 page

So are we going to see some of the 4X maps in ST2? Also, Brutus Aurelius, I saw a planet named "Aurelius XVII". Still looking for a "Catnip Catnapuss"...

I love long term games so i gravitate towards the largest maps.

Brutus AureliusIm not really suprised you haven't found it yet. It is on: Degla 100x100 (112 worlds) EDIT: I have the coordinates if you want, but you may want to find it for yourself. I guess it depends on if you are planning on playing that map any time soon

That's cool, thanks! I'll start a new game and look for it! I'm surprised, since I've beaten that map before. Maybe there was a name change or an unnamed colony or two.
