I just wanted to hop on and say that I just broke down and bought 4X for Steam and I honestly think I'll never play it on mobile again. Having a larger screen and both touch pad and touch screen capabilities makes me feel like I'm actually controlling things my way.
Navigating the menu system is so much easier when there are multiple ways of doing so, and having both hands able to work with keyboard commands and the different touch options completely changes the entire game for me.
