I kinda wish that for colony ships, that the flag of this ship would show up instead of having to hit the ridiculously tiny Colony Ship icon to the left of its health and waterfuel.

Btw it isnt a bug. I'm just saying that in the game's main screen I think that for the ship I have selected, that ships colony should be visible.

Yeah, it would be cool to have each ship's flag displayed on the main screen. Maybe room could be made by making the waterfuel and health bars lower.
If the ship button is too small, you can always tap on the ship itself to get to the screen with the flag.

Enlarge the "Next ship" button to include ship icon and move the "ship stats" button to the, you know, ship stats. Make WHOLE ship stats panel a button. Yes.
