I feel it hard to have to wait for sc4 but we may be able to build a few buckets of rust to use as a bump stop for the xeno if needed.
I know alt maza will use this to push for star forge sonner rather than later. You should try and get some assurances for our own great discovery.
However as it stands i can live with proposal. Just remember, on your head be it.

More money now means more War Barges later torvus. How does a fleet of 6 TORVUS MK 1 Destroyers sound? You'll be able to blast ships and enemy colonies to dust. |

There is another matter to be discussed, and it is that of our Star Forge technology. We are not planning on plying our considerable political might in an attempt to rush for our most potent ability. As long as we are in a time of peace, the mighty Forges are best left dormant. We are willing to wait until the time is ripe, as we don't wish to burden our collective resources on something that would suit us best further down the road. Once our collective might is capable of researching the Star Forge in under 5 turns, you will hear of us again on this matter.
Enjoy the Vudka my friends, and waste not the Spice- more than a dozen Star Traders died for that small pile, which is a horrible price to pay, but *almost* worth it for the quality. I bid you ado, and thank you for your hospitality, and you, Floop, for putting up with my requests of you.

I still believe that we do not have the research facilities to yet make ANY Faction tech worth pursuing yet. The TP would benefit all, but it is not yet worth it.

Your point is well taken Brutus Aurelius. Spice dens, Palaces, Exchanges, and Star Port 4 all provide bonuses to research. If these could all be built across all currently inhabited worlds and a few new colonies, our ability to research would be greatly improved. We have a new Zenrin colony on the way. Just building the above mentioned building would give a boost of around 5 or so research point alone. If the Alta's and Mok did the same on new colonies we're looking at nearly 15 points of research. Faction techs would not take to long then. If all works well, I believe the choices we have made today will lead to a lasting peace and a strong empire for all. As I said before, if it turns out wrong, we are attacked, the others betray us. I will submit myself for punishment without delay. |

@sheep sit the hell down You did what you thought was right and if the xenos had not been found it would be. Now we have to look to our defenses. And i do not mean just the xenos. I agree now is the time to both expand and build fleets BUT no one faction should out expand another just because they think they can turn ships out very slightly faster. Expansion MUST be even and the harmony of the faction maintained. We must work as one to defend our selves. Now ntsheep go was that mint sauce off, put your uniform on and get politicing. It's what you do best and we need at least one pearson not obsed with torps Some one get the sheep a spiced espresso... he has a busy time ahead |

I have a thought: with the discovery of the Xenos colony maybe we should colonize one of the white stars to the west. We could use it as a refuel point and as a target to draw the Alien's warships. It'll help buy us time to research...
