Its just the first period.
Its not wishy washy, its being flexible. We can go either route and turn a profit, however, we'll need zenrin to get their fleets up, and alta to contribute in that regard too.
If we go for a fleet immediately, that's fine, we can turn a profit. We'll colonize. Prolifically. If we want to go the factory route, we're fine there too. Benefit to an economic strategy is that there is one goal. Make money. With the additional TP we pull every turn, this is happening.
Besides, I want to get the lay of the land. And I noticed that you have us making a mine now. Do you mind switching that to the above queue please. The last post I made after talking with rearick. Please and thank you.

sheff we have not researched spice halls yet although that will probably be the next tech decided on

Sorry for the confusion, but it was option b. So factory next, and since we have the early 2nd tech, could we get a colony ship in that que? And then 2 more habs. Great Templar forgive the confusion, we're still shaking the cryogen from our heads, and speaking for myself, my head's still lodged...somewhere... Rearick, do you want to go to flamesong? Or do you have a special plan in mind? Thanks Templar Gundamgoth for taking care of this minor adjustment. Im sure after we get beyond the setup phase, there will be intrigue to last you forever, and if our history is any indication, we'll be funding ALL of it. May all your enemies coins return to your pocket before they realize what they've done.

sheff Loving your little sayings at the end of your posts. I would like to go to Flamesong. I like the idea of keeping all of our worlds as close together as possible. Also I'd love it if you could be our official representative to the main thread. I've got some IRL commitments and I'll post here but might now make deadlines. As far as build order, I'm fine picking up a mine until we get to the pop to have 4 CP. Great job pushing the colony ship quick. Our real test will be pushing the second as quickly as we can after the first.

In answer to a question posed by honorable sheff, I have put forth a proposal to my own counsel members that long term research goals should be PC 2 followed by FP 1,2, and 3. From this all would gain the ability to build Spice Dens and Exchanges. If however you all have something else in mind, please let us know what plans you think may be best. Respectfully, Ntsheep

I'm thinking faction politics 3 would be best for us. Get an upgraded exchange.
Might be a good time, if no one has any strong thinking on the matter to try and get our special building.

Just as a personal preference I usually bypass Faction Politics 3, I like to skip my exchanges ahead to 3 when I get there. I did see that Alta Mesa was just now pushing for Faction Politics 3 so we could do that if necessary. I was thinking that Space Colonization 1 might benefit us the most. With quality so low on our two expansion worlds, we'll need to look at expanding our starports as soon as possible to take advantage of that slot. CdrPlatypus could we get an economic rundown on our worlds? I want to make sure that we could afford bumping up the starports But I do also agree that this might be a great time to play on the other factions pity to pick up our first faction tech. Actually, now that I just looked it up, that's my vote. 0 quality and 6 TP tradeways would turn our 6 and 8 quality worlds into mini-powerhouses that could support the highly upgraded infrastructure that they're going to need.

Why not research Space Colonization first, so that your fledgling colonies have a head start? Much tempo has been lost already with your poor rolls- my condolences by the way.
*If* we were to back your request for your faction tech, perhaps you would be kind enough to do the same when it comes time for us to build our mighty Star Forges?
