What effect does endorsement of the new baron (or not) have on ep2?

I'm playing through again just to do everything different.
Everywhere there is a choice I'm doing the polar opposite. This time I'm supporting him. Hopefully one choice will give me the option to kill his mage bloodlace in Ep4. (my #1 request for ep4 is that I get to kill her).

She's not "his mage".

If you endorse the new baron then in Ep2 the Reeve of Riven Field is a bit pissy, otherwise she's friendly. Not that that matters a whit.

Why oh why would you want to kill Bloodlace? She's awesome! Awesome and sneaky and magey and cool.

I don't trust that whole "I'm not a war mage" spiel. Not sure why I want to kill her completely. All I know is when I first saw her I hoped is meet her in battle someday.

He might actually unite the region and help society enter a new golden age ... What do you think is there now !!!! I'm one of Death's Chosen.... That makes it all the worse. The new Baron may actually be doing lots of killing without you being there. How can you ensure justice and equality of mass deaths without you being the dispenser? Do you leave it all to chance?!? You're not the Gambler's Chosen! No, Wanton death, destruction, and bloodshed by your hand is one thing. Having others kill without you there. It's like they're throwing a party in your honor and not inviting you. "Hey, did you see that village attack the other week?" "What slaughter? I missed it. I was busy in the Underforge" "Oh it was epic, never seen that much red!" "Yes, the Underforge was indeed brutal, but my party and I stepped up to the ..." "No, I meant the village. It was a slaughter!" "Grrrrrrrrrr"
