I am unclear how the profession bountyhunter works. Do I just keep searching for bountyhunter style contracts? How else can I find bounties? By the way I love this game!!

Just wanted to add that it hints in the discription for the bounty hunter class that they can track down bounties, how do I do this? Is the only method contracts?

I apologize for the lack of responses on the Forum -- I have been on holiday since the day before your post and I have been neglecting the forum.
The Bounty Hunter
* The Bounty Hunter should purchase "Death Warrants" (AKA, Edict) from every possible Faction
* Death Warrants are easier to find, cheaper and require slightly less work for Bounty Hunters Purchase of a Death Warrant + Bounty Hunter class should increase payment, reputation and % contract offered for Capture and Destroy missions
* Fight in "Wars of Assassins" -- only the bounty hunter will gain the full bonus for a War. Execution of repeated contracts (with Edict) will often trigger wars
There is certainly an argument that almost any class could play the other class. A Bounty Hunter could easily be a Merchant by trade and carry Bounty Hunter only in title.
However, the classes do contain a number of bonuses and special advantages that make playing as a Bounty Hunter easier with the class.

So we can end up fomenting wars between factions depending on our actions? Can we cause the reverse? Perform actions that could make two factions "kiss and make up?" Perhaps selling enough Vudka and spice to a faction could help them mellow out? Or could we have missions to get peace negotiatiors to agressive factions?

Thanks for your reply! I seemed to have overlooked the faction rival conditions. This helps a lot.
I love the discriptions of the planets and palaces etc. Great touch that adds an artistic flair to the game.

Any word on those new missions? In many of my impossible games I try (usually failing) to get a positive rep in all factions. Making them play nice with each other would go a long ways towards that.

I didn't even remember Cory saying that ... mind you Cory's hoping that everyone had forgotten too Please say that these Star Hero missions have been created but just put to one side for the moment. It'll be soooooooo useful to actually have some sway on the galactic tide of love and hate.

Who do I have to kill to end this embargo? Who do I have to kill to start this trade alliance?
"Captain, you just bought Clothing from Cadar and now there's a massive solar conflict between them and Rychart. Those weren't the new line of Telepathic War Hats, were they?"
