Tapping on the right column could bring user to build queue directly.
And the building queue itself could benefit from "new ship" and "new upgrade" buttons, too.

anrdaemon - if you are on the colony summary screen, there are 4 buttons listed. Projects (i.e. build queue), New Upgrade, New Ship, and Upgrades. I am very confused by this wish list item ...?

I mean the very summary screen, that listing all colonies. It takes too many clicks to go through all the building queues. If you want an example of good colony summary screen…  You could literally check and change production queues of your whole empire in a few clicks. |
