To clarify on the gate error -- you should approach the security camera, move into it, which starts a dialog. The dialog should acknowledge that you have the pass and that you are going to go through the gate. When the dialog completes, you should appear on the far side of the gate.

Although I get the dialog ("... it's good to be loved by the police") I still do not appear on the other side...

Is there anything special you have to do to get a new pass? I've talked to Texas twice after the most recent update (0.3.15) and he tells me that the best jobs are available and stuff but doesn't say anything about the pass again. Now, I still have the old pass which had been a computer but is now changed to be the pass (was like this before I talked to Texas - first thing I checked after updating). Tried the pass at the gate, before talking to Texas again and after, and it still gives the 'it worked' dialog but I'm still outside the gate. Should I sell the pass and see if Texas will give me another? Should I do another mission from him and see if he gives me another pass after completing the mission?

It looks like some saved games are stuck in some type of broken state with Texas Powers.

We might be able to fix it, but maybe not. I'm looking into the reports by starting a new saved game and running the ladders.

This type of issue is the main reason why we have released only the sandbox characters for beta. As we work out bugs it is possible for some games to get stuck on certain side quests. It looks like Texas Power's pass might be one of these cases.

We'll strive to fix it in the next release but I cannot promise anything for the Beta. Once I play through a new character on a fresh install, I'll post an update about what is and what is not working on our phones.

Team - do not sell the pass. Texas Powers will only ever give you one pass, he mentions that when he gives it to you. Your best hope is to keep the pass and hope that Cory can help resolve the issue, but realize that in beta, you might be stuck in this character. Selling the pass closes the door to us ever being able to help.

yeah - i sold the computer before it was a pass lol i had already guessed that i would need to restart the character if i ever wanted to get the pass though.

We found a bug. I think we can fix most people's games if you keep the pass Texas gives you.

I ended up selling the computer in an earlier version as I thought it was my old computer,(just upgraded) if it was labeled brave star pass, people wouldn't sell it

k0rd -- hey maybe all that Glu Mobile worship GOOG does is paying off in CK RPG downloads. we can only hope.

I made the mistake of downloading GunBros when I first got my droid...and had no clue (which hasn't changed much).

Terrible game - tried it and immediately deleted...terrible.

No offense to anyone, I just felt like it was insulting my intelligence for some reason.

And in my opinion GunBros = Eternity Warriors = Star Blitz.

Although, they're making about 10,000x the amount of money we make so I guess they're doing something right commercially. =)
