There was a thread going around about possible new character ideas. I don't think the brothers have any planned, but I thought to throw a few visuals around as ideas for filling optional character slots. Bard (rogue), Assassin (rogue), Gladiator (fighter), Hedge Knight (Fighter), Druid (cleric), Monk (cleric), Warlock (wizard), Sorcerer (wizard). Not everyone is pictured at the moment- I'm currently working on a B squad lol.

Yet again I'm wowed! It would be so cool if we could play a game together dayan. I remember my first D&D game well even after all these years. The comics and pictures you could've drawn from that would have been legendary. I'll have to get together with my old game mates and piece the story back together and post it sometime.

We play 5th edition. Modules only with dci support which means all magical items have certificates. I miss the homebrew games though as much as I love Forgotten Realms. The settings and mythos we had back in high school was at least as intricate and involved as the setting for HOS- which makes sense because I think Heroes uses the brothers own homebrew setting as a basis. Good stuff!
If you get back into playing, write me up something about your character. I'll take a crack at drawing them up.

I've never played anything past 3.5 of D&D. It's been over 10 years since I last enjoyed a good game. My first character was a Barbarian named Phenets. He was a strange one so to speak, not your typical barbarian. Had high Int and Wis, 14 and 15 if I remember correct, and spoke and read several languages. His weapon was a flaming great sword given to him by a demon he fell in love with. If anyone touched that sword, unless he said they could, he would fly into a rage and destroy everything. We went to warn a king at his castle a war party was coming to attack the town and the guards at the gate didn't believe us. When they tried to disarm me, I beat half of them almost to death and almost decided to go destroy the castle myself. Another player in the group was a Wizard that was my brother. He had a magic cloak with pockets that he could pull either a sandwich or mug of ale out of to try and calm me down. This became a common theme through the whole campaign when we would argue or he needed to distract me, he pulled out a sandwich or ale. I sometime complained that I didn't want warm food from his pockets and he would be forced to use one of his cold spells to chill it. The best thing about the first night I played, we started on a road and when we got to town, the first thing I did was go look for a brothel. Everyone cracked up laughing because no one had even done that in a game before, even playing a barbarian. This lead to an in game argument between my brother and me that I shouldn't be going to brothels. My response was that I needed some fun, what was I to do, put a bag over my head. When my brother held out a bag he pulled out of his pack, I grabbed it and put it over him and ran off to find to find a house of fun. The rest of the group just stood in the street shaking their heads and went to do the things they needed. I'll stop here before the thread really get derailed by my story.

Absolutely great stuff -- dayan made my year by honoring the game with these fan arts!

Just saw this for the first time. What a treat! I hope we will see the Witch when she enters the game as well!
