slayernz - mostly trying to separate P1 posts from P2 so Cory and I can focus on the newest stuff easily.

johndramey - that is the kind of reward that would bring you into the family? Well to be totally honest, I'm a bad and lazy person. I've been meaning to start paetron since you started it, really. I just, well, every time it pops into my head I think about standing up to dig out my American credit card. Then I realize that my credit card is at the bottom of my filing cabinet. Then I realize that I'd have to dig through all of my old pay stubs, tax returns, housing contracts, etc. Then I find something else to do. I swear to god, I will become a paetron. Someday. Soon...ish? But to answer your question, I think having some kind of "glurp" system (as slayernz christened it) would be a really good idea and give a lot of people on the fence a solid reason to finally take the plunge. If I may input my 2 cents, it might be worth making the "glurps" a certain amount of time running as a paetron rather than a certain amount of cash. If it's cash, the system could be disincentive to people who can only afford to donate $1-2. setting a simple 6-month/1-year/etc rule would reward everyone for their contribution, no matter how small. I think I'm safe in saying that the fans that donate above the $10 mark are your hardcore fans and would be pleased with any extra you give, so there is no need to give them proportionally more rewards than the fan donating $1.

Totally agree with johndramey here. Having a special tier of rewards for long-time support rather than the ability to donate at the higher levels is an excellent suggestion.

You'd need to consider total funds donated within a glurp, or the glurp itself. So for example, if you have: 1x Char portrait for $20 worth of Patreon pledges, with a maximum 1 portrait per glurp. IF Glurp = 6 months and Patreon 1 pledges $1 per month and Patreon 2 pledges $2 per month and Patreon 3 pledges $10 per month THEN Patreon 1 will get a portrait every 20 months ($1x 20 months = $20) Patreon 2 will get a portrait every 10 months ($2x 10 months = $20) Patreon 3 will get a portrait every 6 months, but after month 2 (doesn't have to wait until the end of month 6). ... but then is that too tricky?
