I just purged the first world (level 39 Sidtax with 15 Radiation and 19 Defense) since v2.3.3 update, in my continuing game on Hard: The damage per turn to the ships of my invasion fleet was way less than half what it suffered during the purge of the last world under v2.3.1. The fleet consisted of 5 veteran Heavy transports with low or no XP (I think the highest was 5XP going in) and 3 green Heavy transports (same design as the last of the veterans). And I can confirm that repair rates for the same transports is double (two times the Captain's Repair Skill per turn) what it was in v2.3.1.

My heavy transports with max armor are taking almost no damage in hard. Repair rates are much improved. I'll post more when I've done a little more testing.

Let me know if Invasion is completely ridiculously too easy now or if it still contains a little tiny bit of challenge.
I just absolutely stomped a 6 Xeno game on Garden-Impossible under 2.3.3 ... won so fast I didn't have a chance to even get to Heavy Transport on the research tree.
Thinking this new patch might be too far in the other direction. I'll wait to hear from the players, but I'm worried after a few hours of additional play.

i'm fighting agains 43 lvl zenga and 36 lvl krangg hard ships 5k mass 20 durability, 0 shielding, 5 sensor, 25 armor and they mostly take 0 damage - one or two ships from 8 takes only 1-6 damages, on 2.3.1 all of them takes 20-40 dmg so its easier now than on 2.2.15 well - its deffinitly needs to be rebalanced once again

Hard and above got a pretty extreme nerf'ing of the Xeno. The complaints on the board were pretty extreme, so it seemed like an extreme nerf was in order We'll see what the e-mail crew and the rest of the forum thinks this week.

I only played a few hours yesterday, but it does seem too easy now. I think with the higher repair rates, the damage we were taking wouldn't have felt so extreme. Thanks for the hard work.

Thanks Cory for this update. Based on what I have tested so far again level 50 Bollish in Garden Hard, it is better than 2.3.1 as the transports take less damage in scouted out invasion. The scouting can cause good damages. However things are still not as easy as before 2.2.17 since the xeno fleet logic in general is tougher than before 2.2.15.
Cory: Are you using the stock transport for your invasion? Try that instead of super duper designs. Change to the other heavier drop pods but leave the other stats behind. Then see how you do.
I will continue to test since there are still 5 groups of xeno and last 2 Bollish systems for me to fight. I will even go back down to my old transports to see whether you nerfed it the wrong way. We cannot play only with these super duper transports.

Yeah I test mostly with stock transports for my designs.
This is definitely way, way way, way way easier than 2.2.15
The "fleet logic" definitely doesn't compensate.
Most of the feedback so far is that we went way to far, Impossible is a joke.

Just finished my game on hard and I think it is currently easier than before all the changes. My heavy transports with max armor were taking a max of 20 damage through about 20 planets taken. Mostly they took no damage or <10. The aliens were level 44 and 48 or so.
I like where repair is at at the moment, but invasion is probably a good bit too easy .

I guess I better take advantage of this "New Nerfing" and knock off some of those tough spots on the Garden map first.....
