I am starting a new team and would appriciate some advice. Fyona will be my tank with a large hammer in her paws. Salen will be on one flank and outside of pinning shot she will use blades most of the time. I will have her leading the charge. Kincaid will be on the other flank doing what he does. Kjartan will be an ash machine and a group spell man late game. As always thnx for the great games. You guys rock.

sennett - sounds like a great setup. What Fyona & Kincaid buffs are you planning?

Kinkaid Sure parry Cunning footwork Flanking unity Storm of steel Live by the blade Fyona Blessed aura Holy strickening Rightous fever Shield of cortias Consecrated defense Salen Pinning shot Punishing blades Quicksilver defense Dance of shadows Steel and shadow Karjtan Burning blades Choking ash Pureflame shield Immolation Meteoric shockwave Any advice on this build from you veterans will be appriciated. The best way not to get hit is not to be there when it comes.

sennett - I am sure some of the other veterans will chime in, but my first thought is that is a lot of Talents for each character. Perhaps that is the "final level 40 build" in mind, but I would suggest that you start Episode 1 by focusing on 3 Talents each. Then, once those are strong and you're moving along, starting adding the extras. Just a thought.

You are right in my taking a long term view of this build. I was going to focus on my parry ability while reducing theres first before moving on to other things. By lv 18 or so my d and parry should be good enough to start adding some more bite to my attacks. Thnx for thr advice.

What difficulty are you playing on? Also, how are you planning to build characters? Personally, I haven't had much luck with a Fyona tank in early game but then you have three tank capable characters... And that suddenly shows that you have very little in the way of ranged anything. Still perfectly workable though...

I will do a test run on easy with this team through ep1 and go from there. Still kinda new to the dynamics of this game. And yes i decided to forgo some range ability at first to have 2 off tanks. I have decided at first to use my talents to increase my parry and evasion while lowering theres. What i need advice on is what should i do with my skills and such. I have read several threads and they have been very helpful. Just looking for advice on this team build. Thnx in advance for your advice.

sennett - what difficulty? As your build only includes Selen's Pinning Shot for -AP, don't ignore this. You will want it and use it well.

At higher difficulties it will be hard to impossible to use Fyona as main tank without a shield.
Kincaid is easier to setup as a main tank especially if you want to use Fyona with two handed hammer, which is a great use BTW it gives a very nice way to handle high armor targets, but lowers her defense.
