When having an implant removed, perhaps have 10% of the DV cost remain.... the price for having it installed in the first place.

That would suck! ;D But maybe, we could remove that DV penalty by spending XP on it. Good suggestion actually. I was wondering why it there are no penalties (other than wasting the money you paid for the implant and the removal surgery fee) on the character.

@cory - Could we even use the word "Bioware" nowadays with all those pesky IP police? ;D So, to jump the gun a little, advancing along the "Body" path will unlock "Mutations" while placing more emphasis on "Mind" will unlock "Psychics", correct? Damn, I'm tearing up just thinking about all the possibilities! I am sure we can use different terminology, but I doubt we would have issues with Bio-ware. because we aren't using as a company name, or specifiying one item to be called bio-ware, then they can't say much. Shadowrun had bio-ware. The black markets love to deal with excised cyberware and bioware. especially bio-ware. new kidneys, or a level 3 Aztek heart isn't cheap. if you can't keep up with the payments, well you can't keep the organs. true story, chummer.

Talking about kidneys, I remember selling one of those in Neuromancer for a trashy computer. Good times...
