Steam says Episode 4 has been released, but the Postern Gate in the Storm Bastion still won't open as it says new content is waiting for episode 4.
Perhaps there is a delay in the episode being released on Android?

cowboypete - that postern gate is not yet open. For those groups that have completed Episode 3, they can now enter Episode 4. If you are at the postern gate, you haven't completed E3.

Thanks. I was trying to do as much as I possibly could before entering the CotD. I guess now it's time to visit some skeletons.

Spoiler maybe.
Has anyone managed to attack both of the second towers? Obviously we can't attack both of tier 1 towers as the gates are closed until we clear them out but who is the key enemy within the second tower who needs to be killed in order to close off the access to the opposite tower? Is it the wraith or the Lord? Because if it is the Lord then I could fight everything up until I believe the Lord fight is then go back and clear out most of the other t2 tower and then choose which one to finish. If it is the wraith however then nevermind it is already done.

cowboypete - each set of Towers is ruled by a single Seer Lord. Defeating the SL in one of the two towers will close the other tower. The latest release added dialog to this effect.

Cool. I didn't know about being able to kill both wraiths. I assumed (incorrectly) that when you entered one tower it turned the other off.
I've got one team ready for CoD now, although I'm going to do all the side quests first... (I'm deliberately leaving Vurnak alive though as I'm curious what h appens if you do).

Nah, it is the Wraith. Sorry not to be clear. Once you start a Tower, you're bought in.

Bobsoup, that is an interesting idea.
Fallen, thanks for the clarification! Onward and upward!

How do I get an emberlog? You need to be in Ep3 (either completed all requests from Brunehorn or Braeyshaulm). You probably also need to have visited the ice blocked passage in the bone pass too. (SE from Braeyshaulm or Northern stairs in Granthorn). Once you've done all quests for Braeys family or Baron Koda's knight you can ask them for an ember log and they'll give one to you as long as you agree to enter City of Death under their banner.

I managed to get through the CotD and now making my way through Ironwood Range. So far I have found two red locked chests which don't appear to have a boss to fight. The second one I find is right after the fight with the followers of "the pale walker". Have I missed something?

I can't say I am very impressed with the new weaponry immediately after CotD. I have been slogging away with the same weapons since defeating the Wolf Lord (approximately 8 levels). I was expecting to find some nice fancy gear in the city but frankly the stuff I bought off Wyatt has been far superior. I know I could improve my offensive talents to increase damage output but my enemies are increasing their hp and accuracy at such a rate that I still need to focus on avoiding damage - which causes these fights to take a Long time, especially with 3 enemies 1500+ HP each.
The deadliest fight I found in CotD was the ratkin. Level 39 ratkin are not fun at all.

Good news! I installed an update this morning and it fixed one of my red locked chests! It was empty, but at least it's fixed! And Fyona has an aoe attack now? Nice.

Well back to original question. I am back at the postern gate, and there is no change at all from the pre-CotD dialogue, despite one of my quests suggesting talking with the sister about her skills.
I guess I should be asking (because I am too itchy for direction) Approximately how long should I leave my team alone for the new episode to have sufficient content completed? It's calving time so I can just keep busy with work for a month (or more likely play a new game team for a while).
Keep up the good work, my frustration is just another sign they are doing so well!
