If you are killed you start at Roxbury even if your reputation is lousy there, and you have a good reputation elsewhere.

grävling - been busy on the forum, eh? All good feedback, thanks for piling it on. Effectively linking your death circumstances to a realistic resulting location (detention center, washed up in the Charles, Roxbury, etc) is CK-144 and targeted for a 0.7 release (its a ways away, but its coming).

All the connectors that are found in buildings that I have seen so far deal for the same faction as controls the neighbourhood where they are located -- except for the Lion and the Harpy, in KH controlled Back Bay Slums, where Crazy Crawford recruits for the Streets. Intentional or Error?
By the way, please do something about how to enter buildings soon. It was bad enough when nothing happened when you tapped on the door because you were zoomed out so far that your character covered the whole doorway, but now, for instance when you want to enter the Lion and the Harpy and are zoomed all of the way out, what happens when you tap is that the game thinks you want to leave the Back Bay Slums and sends you to Old Kenmore. Very irritating (and at my current level of weakness, dangerous).

Chipped Skills I is claimed to be made by 'Bodyware' instead of 'Headware'.

I turned off the Game notifications, and as a result do not get to see what loot I find on the corpses. This was not quite what I was looking for, and I think that even those who want the least in notifications will still want to see what they have found.

While I think that it makes sense for connectors to tell you that you will be working against a faction when they offer you an assasination or capture job, I don't think that it makes sense for them to tell you any such thing when they are offering message and package delivery. Perhaps for very high level packages, one where it might make sense for you to say, ah, no I do not think that I can deliver this one if it will be watched like a Hawk by Mars Corp, because I am too well known by them.
Right now this gives you a chance to avoid jobs that might antagonise factions that you are friendly with. But at the level of street courier and package runner, the last thing a connector wants is a Knight with other loyalties. So I cannot see if being in the Connector's interest to tell you who cares about the package delivery. Indeed, I expect lots of the low level ones to have no impact at all -- the package service is just a way for the Faction to make money, delivering for 3rd parties things that have no appreciable faction interest, merely commercial intererst.

Also, in a totalized surveillance state ... regardless of what is in the package large or small ... someone takes note.
In the semi-twilight of the dome, there are no spare resources and every transgression ... every transaction ... each one matters.

I am calling Vinny the Rat, and negotiating for 2 jobs, since that is what my computer can hold. On the second job the graphic for his face is incorrectly the image of the orange shirted man with the black touque and 0803 on his left chest.

In "The Bungalow" a statement you can make is: "A gunshop, bar, ... Housing? There is a lot going on at this bungalow."
But it sells guns, armour, and ammunition and has a connector and a place to talk about bosses. No bar and no hotel facilities.

Boston Rifles, sells, unsurprisingly a very nice set of rifles. But only pistol ammunition, not the automatic ammunition they need.

The CyberLoader that I was incarnated with says (Max 300u) which I took to mean maximum number of rounds it can hold, 300.
I have 133 Pistol rounds and 215 auto rounds in it right now.

Great Game! Thanks for your efforts so far.
One of the most annoying things... if I am friendly with a faction why do they attack me? I have a 46 rep with Streets and the thugs are still coming out of the walls. Is this on the list to change?
Thanks again!

Additionally, I have accepted a job and get to a terminal and call a Taxi. The destination selection screen pops up and I select the zone by scrolling. The actual building in that zone does not appear in the list. I have take the taxi to another building nearby and walk of to the job destination. It does not appear to be one zone as it has happened to me a couple of times (but not all) with destinations in various zones (Droid X2).

I think it makes perfect sense for a connector you meet in a building to hand you a package to take to a destination, but not for one you call on the phone. Recently I was standing outside a building that had a phone inside it. I called Vinny the Rat. And he gave me a package to deliver to that very place where I was phoning him from. Felt very odd. I think that Connectors on vchips should only give you messages or instructions to pick up packages as certain places -- and subdue and assassinate missions, of course.
