Just got done downloading and started a new game. In the first room where you fight 3 xenos I had myself next to the door to go out of the room on the next turn. When all 3 xenos were killed, I was auto moved back into the center of the room. This has never happened before and cost me an extra two turns to beat the level. Is this something new or a bug. Not upset about the extra turns, still did it in 11 out of 15, was just caught by surprise.

This might be a hedge against people who run around crazy and end up back in the starting room when they kill the last xeno.

Fixed for next - it is to protect people who have been retreating backwards into the area that is about to get closed off.
The door forward is now locked and you cannot go forward until the xenos are dead.

That makes sense Cory Trese. I've played over 50 games so far and this was a first. Loving the new content so far. The new music is nice. just saw your post fallen after I made this one. again, that makes sense.

If you stay near the barricade, you won't get teleported. The locked door will fix this for next - you're in a little box and need to kill some Scitterings

Funny ... I actually ran ahead and met up with soldier Dalan before killing the third of the Xeno trio.
Dalan and the good captain beat the Xenos around him, and moved towards the doorway north of Dalan's starting point.
It was at that point when I'm guessing Dalan killed the third Xeno and both Dalan and the captain were whisked back to the point just north of the airlock!!!
I'm guessing you should do a simple check. If player is in the Airlock area, then teleport north of the door, else leave where they are.

It's all stack based, so a "simple check" isn't always.

That makes sense ... oh as an aside, I left the game when my team was bounced back to the start, and when I got round to going back, Android had restarted the game. I found myself in the position I was before the characters were teleported back, and the turn count hadn't increased. so that weird.

slayernz - nope, that is completely expected. If the game is stopped by Android, then your turn is reverted. You didn't end the turn in which you were teleported back. Sounds 100% as intended.
