Okay,so i suggest that every pawn broker has a budget. It doesnt buy over the amount of budget, and the budget could be spread amongst some item classes. Thr classes would be,for example, weapons, drugs, medikits, computers, and ammo. If the store has a budget of,say,10 000, then it would buy something with 10 000 from each class. The budget could replenish over time,as the droker sells those items. And then stores would have an item amount. That means that if you try to buy 200 high-end computers, they could only let you buy 50 because they are so hard to produce, and if you tried to buy many high-rep needing weapons then they would not let you buy more than 1 of them because you would try to sell them to non-loyalists! Whats worse than to let your costly made blueprints to flow to the hands of your enemies?

Perhaps have a 'base-cost' value to all items... that way shops will buy/sell within a +/- % range and the negotiate skill will put that range in favor of the runner but not below/above the base cost for the transaction.
And again, visiting my previous thoughts about factions, having this would let a shop keeper have different % ranges for different faction equipment

We should implement both. Better yet, if we could have a Fallout-like bartering system, it'd be cool as well.

What if CK's, well at least the ones "stimmed" up enough, could attack "pawnshops" and perhaps get some loot or die a writhing screaming bloody death in the attempt?

Cory has masses of experience in solving these kind of supply-demand problems from ST RPG so I'm sure he will find a very good solution.
