Knight's Bible (HELP NEEDED!!!)

I will update this post soon with some info and a hopeful beta release of the Knight's Bible. It will contain all sorts of reference material, ranging from interactive maps, to store inventories, a hacking guide and even a"tour of the NBZ" mini walkthrough for new players.

***IMPORTANT Note to Cory.***
I have tried PMing you a couple of times in response to your offer of help on the guide. I honestly am not sure if you get them. Your screen name is "Cory Trese" but when a reply pm is sent, it sends it to "admin" . I listed in the PM what I need to start putting the guide together, mostly just icon graphics and such, that i COULD get from screen shots, but for one i cannot seem to get my phone to properly connect to my computer, and even if i find a way it will take me quite a while editing, cropping and formatting the images into what i need.
if you need me to resend the PM i can, or if you arent comfortable sending me the map graphics, its ok, i understand, but it would be a great help to know one way or another, so that i can start trying to find another way to get the graphic for the interactive guide. Hope I'm not being a bother.

To everyone else, I hope to have you a functioning guide soon, but if all else fails, i will try to release a guide without any of the interactive elements or maps, and just try to update it when I can. Sorry for all the delays.

Fallen, i could really use the map tile graphics.
thats what is holding me up.
in order to make it interactive, i need the 32 map graphics (the ones you see when you take a cab, or choose your destination)
and i also need the icons from the map. The ones for global terminal, shops, quest givers, safehouses, etc.
i want the map in my guide to be identical to the game, so that when you click on a map square, it lists the shops, and when you click on the shop, it will bring up a list of items sold, complete with info, prices, and everything else.
the big hold up is not having those graphics,
i could get them with screenshots, but no matter what i do, i cannot get my phone to connect to my computer. I even went so far as to use jen's phone to take pictures of my phone, but that didnt work very well either. I could REALLY use those graphics.
Its nearly impossible to set the guide up without them. Its like trying to build a house, but not having the frame. I can put up the drywall and insulation, but its gonna fall apart.
i know you guys are busy, but could you maybe email me those files? I dont need all the graphics, just the 32 map squares(from transit selection) and the building icons.
i dont need characters, tiles,or anything else.
Item graphics(gguns, cyberware, drugs, etc.) would be nice, but i can worry about that later. II just want to get a functioning guide up to help you guys out with the new players.

**Tsueg** I wouldn't want to take Andrew's graphics for use with anything that wasn't related to helping out Cyber Knights. I can't speak for Cory or his brothers, but I'm not sure they would want to give out their work like that.

OK it seems that the brothers are busy working, so for the time being, I am placing a call for help to my fellow residents of the NBZ!
In order to get my guide on the road to release, I need a few things.
This call for help is directed at ANYONE who can take screenshots of Cyber Knights.
I cannot get my phone to connect to my computer. I have even PURCHASED a second copy of cyber knights on my fiancee's phone, to see if it would work any better, but that didn't work either.
So I call on you, to please, if you would, lend me some assistance in getting the images that I need to start putting this Knight's Bible together.
Here is what I need:
32 Map tiles. (the ones you see in the cab screen, or when you pick a destination.) I need these THE MOST!
I can always add other graphics later, but I MUST HAVE those in order to get the guide set up. (you can look below to see why)
I also need the building icons (global terminal, shop, doctor, bar, etc.)
and once i have those two sets of graphics, i can actually FINISH the Knight's Bible!

now, if you are feeling froggy, I could also use the Icons for each of the items and weapons. (this is NOT Required) That would be a lot of work for someone to do, and I will only add those to the guide AFTER I get a working version released to everyone here.

At this point, I will take ANYTHING!
You don't even have to crop the images or do any work on them.
you can just send me the raw screenshots, as you are viewing the map. I can handle cropping the images to get what i need.
and for the icons, you can just send in a few screenshots of the map screen, making sure that you get ALL the icons in the pictures. I only need ONE set of those, since they are the same for every map.
so basically, it will add up to about 35 screenshots.
If someone would be willing to help me out with this, I will make sure to give them credit in the credits. Your name will appear on the intro/title page along with mine.

The guide will feature a 32 space grid on it's front page.
Each space will have one of the map graphics in it. That way, it will look like a larger version of the map in the lower left corner of CK. Once you click on a map section, you will be taken to that section, where you can see the name of the area, the faction that holds it, and all the buildings you can visit.
Following that example, you can click on the building for more information about it, and in the case of a shop, it will take you to a page that lists all of the items you can purchase there, as well as what their prices are for a player with 3 negotiation skill (as an average) if your skill is higher, the price will be lower.

in addition to the interactive reference map, I will have a walkthrough for new players that will take them through a few missions, a hack or two, and give suggestions about where to shop and find a decent armor, weapon, and a few cyber implants.
and thats about it!
The guide will be updated as neccessary, when there is a need for a new section, or when Cory makes an update that requires adding to the guide, or changing something.
I'm getting desperate here, guys! I REALLY want to finish this guide for you!

I have done some work with this, find it here- it is larger than the limit, so had to post it externally.

Small map areas (my grid is six by six, so thirty six zones, not thirty two), large and small faction logos, and a set of icons- not sure if I have all of them or not.

As Cory mentioned on another thread, we have taken an action item to work harder to help our enthusiastic fans build fan pages, FAQs, bibles, and whatever awesome things they want. We will keep you all posted, and are reaching out a bit in personal messages to a few early fans.

I will check it shortly, currently on a plane again, hiding the phone from the flight attendants.
yeah, it was 36, i typoed.
on bright side i now can use adb on my phone/pc.
some driver problem.
i can screenshot with that java program that remote views/controls the game. (cyber knights is awesome with mouse control!)
not sure if i will be able to do anything with guide until i get back to greenwood though, kinda busy for next 2 days.
Im a little worried.
gotta go to an office near wall street, and i know that theres a bunch of progressive protester idiots mobbing the area. (Protesting is good, mobbing is bad! Specially when no one there can agree why they are there.)
hopefully i can make my meeting and get back unmolested by those ID'JITS. (Thats southern for IDIOTS)
if its not too late, or if i can get some free time at the hotel later, i will try to start putting the knights bible together.

just got it recently and i see star traders everywhere. A few mentions of cyber knights too!

gotta run, dont wanna get in trouble. You get kicked off of a plane for anything now a days. I remember when you could pinch the flight attendants butt (not that i condone that) andget fitshaced on the plane. Now if you even disagree with them, they threaten to land early and have you arrested for nothing.
first class ai'nt worth it no more. 3 drink limit, food sucks, no peanuts, and its always the same stupid movie. Plus now you gotta pay for every damned bag you bring. Makes me wanna just try for my pilots liscense and try to finance a cheap ultralight, or maybe a cessna.
