Device used: Visionbook 7Q GPS Difficulty: Hard Character: Poryg, Merchant of Thulun What happened: I used him to unlock my achievements for X successful rank promotions. For 20 is on crazy, on 40 is on hard, 60 crazy, 80 hard and 100 Crazy. But I unlocked them all on hard (yes, unlocked. On crazy I haven't ever lived long enough to achieve even 5 rank promotions so far, so there is no way I could have unlocked them on crazy)

poryg - not sure why this is being reported as a bug? You can reach those unlocks on Hard, but you don't get the Awards unless they are on the right difficulty ... ? Sorry if this is confusing, but its core to the ST awards system.

Sorry if this is confusing, but its core to the ST awards system. I will make it clear. They are achievements one is supposed to unlock on difficulty Crazy. I unlocked them at hard though. I know that any achievement can be reached, but unlocks have their specific difficulty of reaching. Not higher, not lower. That means if I on hard unlock achievements I am supposed to unlock on crazy... It is either a glitch or the inaccuracy. I'll send the printscreen to Cory's email to make it more clear.

I didn't see the screenshots - but there is a difference between achieving the award (achievable on any rank) and achieving the unlock reward. You can get Star Lord (60 rank promotions) on Normal difficulty and achieve the award. However, you don't get the Combat Hull Architecture unlocked unless you achieve 60 rank promotions in Crazy difficulty.
Check in the upgrades section of the ship docks and you'll find this to be the case. When you go and buy a Combat Hull Architecture upgrade, you'll get a toast saying that you need to unlock the Star Lord achievement on Crazy to unlock this reward.

I know it already. In these screenshots it is proven though that I really unlocked them, not achieved them.

I won't take these screenshots again, because since that time I managed to get all these achievements on crazy as well (because I wanted to unlock the ships of honor). If anybody is interested, I can forward them the email I sent to Cory though. I can't upload the images here, because I go to here only from tablet

No need to send the screenshots -- it sounds like they just show the game working as designed.
Thanks for the posts and welcome to the forum!

I checked the screenshots again. In screenshot number one there is [Unlocked]: Star paragon The captain received this Award for successfully receiving a total 100 rank promotions.
Unlock Crew Xeno suits on difficulty Crazy.
The second screenshot takes a look on my achievements.
Aspiring trader: Demanding Aspiring trader: Demanding Star Paragon: Hard Star prince: Hard Star prince: Demanding
I don't see there any Star Paragon on Crazy, yet it is unlocked. I say again, unlocked. The same goes for Star lord, which is supposedly unlockable on Crazy, or Star prince which is correctly unlockable on hard.
I know it is not enough to achieve that achievement on any difficulty to see that beautiful [Unlocked] things next to it. But that is the thing, I got that beautiful [Unlocked] thing next to it on Hard, not on Crazy. I wonder if that makes it clear enough, because I am really starting to feel a bit stupid, explaining it like that.

Achievements are per Captain.
Unlocks are per installation.
You achieved that Unlock on a different Captain.
Hope that helps!

Were you reading my earlier posts? When I created this topic, I said I had never achieved even 5 rank promotions on Crazy in that time.
I'll be also mentioning that the game sorts the achievements I have gained in my overall career as all my captains. So if there is only one Star paragon achievement in All achievements showcase screen, then there is no way I could had achieved it with any other captain at that time.
