Visiting the Righteous Fallen after completing the Rychart Prime levels. See Nyra Ridaan first and she's got nothing to say. Head over to Kathos and selecting him brings up a dialogue box saying "Switch in region #10".
Selecting the dialogue box brings up the Captain's portrait and the dialogue "The blast doors have been reactivated. Once we reach them, Kathos will be able to land reinforcements." There is also the siren sfx and a death splatter appears on the steps in the top right hand side of the Secure Zone.
There is no more Kathos dialogue after this. The Luthor dialogue is as normal, explaining the smuggler mission.

bobc - that is really odd. Sorry you're having this issue. When you open the game menu, what is the name of the level you are on?

I'd just completed the last mission sequence so the level was Righteous Fallen: Patrol Orbit.
I ran through the Luthor dialogue and accepted the smuggler mission with no problems. Playing the first level, Infiltration Site, ok. Noticed the dialogue is from the start of this level as you approach the control station.
So anyway, it hasn't affected play. Just thought I'd mention it in case it was a bug and not my tablet coughing!
As an aside, nice intro to the smuggler mission sequence too, and the revised dialogue in the first level sets the scene very well. (To sneak in a quick typo; Kathos wants to say "entire complex" and not "entrie complex" when he is reporting the xeno presence.) This update has really piled on the polish til the game gleams.

bobc - thanks for the encouragement. To return to the bug, you saw that neither Kathos nor Nyra would talk to you? Did you get a blank dialog box, where you'd expect a list of options? Was the "Switch in region #10" the only thing Luthor was willing to say, or this was oddly appended to a list?

I have seen this bug, and thought about reporting numerous times, but somehow never got around to it. Maybe because it's so random that it really makes me giggle whenever it happens. It's in a Kathos dialogue not a Luthor dialogue. So just to confirm the bug on more than one device.

Nyra Ridaan had no dialogue options
Luthor had the smuggler mission dialogue options and they all worked ok
Kathos had a single dialogue option which was "Switch in region #10"
Selecting "Switch in region #10" takes you directly to the line "The blast doors have been reactivated. Once we reach them, Kathos will be able to land reinforcements."
The option "Switch in region #10" did not repeat as the first line of dialogue after selection as would normally happen.

Ok - thanks to everyone providing all the great feedback. I fixed the crossed states that were preventing Nyra and Kathos from talking when they have things to say. There are still a few empty spots in the dialog that I am working on figuring out why they aren't connected. I found and fixed this "switch in region #10" goof  |
