Cory TreseAfter completing Deck 7 (had 1 restart on that level) had 6.3M Honor. Just completed the Righteous Fallen: Bridge level (no restarts 9 turns, 14 kills) and now have 5.7M Honor. Deployed 12 of my 14 veterans on Deck 7, and of course Bridge only allows 4 of your squad to be deployed. Not sure what, if any effect total number of Veterans vs deployed Templars might play in this situation but does seem that once you reach this final stage of campaign Honor starts going in reverse.

A 14 Templar squad could have had a score correction a few updates ago.
In some cases using the top 10 Templars improves average enough to offset total.
It sounds like in your case, the adjustment there had a negative impact.
I'm still experimenting and looking for a bug.

This current Squad has been played mostly on latest update, only the first few levels past tutorial were on previous update. So having a larger number of Templars available in your Veterans will have a negative impact on the Honor score?

xdesperado - no, a large number will not have a negative impact. Only the first 10 Templars are counted into the average Level which is a big factor in score.
