Hi, everyone. I just picked up the game again and started a new group. On my previous game, I went to see the Braey Family expecting to be able to back track at some point to Baron Koda's place, but I couldn't. I finished CoD and was locked down until new content was released.
So, the question I have for you fine folks is this:
Can I nibble up one road, collect XP and, at some point, go back the other direction to complete the episode?
I just want to add, what a great game and dev team! When you play a truly great game, you can feel every fuck that was given in its creation..."Somebody grew this guy, fed him honey and nightshade. Kept him warm. Somebody loved him."

Yes, you can. As long as the last battle in CoD starts. Once you're in for the final tower, there's no going back.

Likely a silly question, but I'm a silly silly man all roads lead to CoD however how you get there is up to you. plenty of things to do along the way. do yourself a favor and download the Episode route maps on the forums. if you never went into Koda lands you missed a lot of content. Ep maps are not cheating and if anything make the game much more fun. all the bad ass pc games in the 1990s had epic maps in the boxes for a reason

Also, the statement of "there's no going back" is applicable for the moment as E4 has not been completed. You will be able to traverse the wider Underdeep again, but many of the story lines will have moved on or closed if you don't do them before the CoD.

Quick question that sorta/kinda fits in here. I'm running through the game with another group and have hit the Koda area. Cleared out the cult, and my quest log says I should regroup at the inn to discuss things. However, when I go to the inn, nothing happens. Am I forgetting something? I literally just wiped out the cult, talked to the knight about the CoD and the Druid, and now can't make my decision regarding the CoD at the inn.

Can you share other quest logs you have that relate to the CoD? Is there nothing at the barracks?

EP. 2 quest logs are as follows: We must pursue R---- into the eastern underdeep and hunt him down. We could travel east to the Braeys ... to ensure R---- cannot reach him. We should regroup at the Brunehorn inn and discuss our options... We must reach the Druid Erghanna. We must constantly be looking... --- Along the same lines, I have a quest left over from EP. 1 We need to visit the River Squid Tavern in Riven Field and ask the barkeep about finding B---- G---- When I tried to visit the tavern, no text windows popped up and I wasn't able to do anything with the quest. Still sitting in my log

johndramey - any chance this is on Steam or a rooted device and you could send me the game file? Can you share the exact quest log about going to the inn, and the latest quest log mentioning the druid?

Unfortunately, this is on a normal, non-rooted Android phone, so I think I can't send you my save file. My exact quest logs are as follows: "We should regroup at the Brunehorn inn and discuss our options in regards to Knight Marko DeVann's offer to enter the City of the Damned under the Koda banner." and "We must reach the Druid Erghanna. At the Brunehorn dockyard - south of the city - we can commission a captain to take us to the swamplands near where the Druid makes her home." Those are it, fallen.

Not yet, although I'm making my way there.

Not yet, although I'm making my way there. Ok, so the bug sounds like ... the Quest Log about the City of the Dead is too early ... shouldn't be there until you visit the Druid.

Thought that would be the case, as I remember being able to immediately do the CoD after speaking to the knight last run through. To be clear, I basically bee-lined for the cult and cleared the entire thing before even talking to the Knight this play through, haha.
