Kids have the attention span of hamsters, and would rather "watch the movie", because; well who has time for that? And who needs to read anyway? ( provided my a very reliable teenage source I.e. on of my daughters. ) I concur. You buy them the iPad 'cos they say "I wanna read e-books on them!" What happens when they get it? Facebook 24/7.  |

[ love the timing ;D] melted my g.i. joes & used (sisters) red nail polish to replicate savage gore (imagine my art now ;D) (full post not shown)*** when you are going after paydata, pay attention to the Host. Say you work for Yakuza, and you have 2 contacts that will buy Mars data. You jack in, find the DT networks, grab some paydata and follow the rabbit hole as far down as it goes. You'll eventually notice some other choices. SMS, Space, etc. ((I don't want to give everything away)) Now if you pay attention to the host, you'll notice it jumps. Not all of those networks are run by Mars. so A> pay attention to the Host of the network you are in. if it is a friendly, and you'd rather not earn negative zRep then once you have access to the OS, back out of the system. especially if it doesn't connect to anything else. B> just goes to show that the Corps are more in bed than most realize. I am willing to help with the FAQ. I'm willing to entertain other strategies. Happy Hunting Chum ~LoS this blows me away - the first time i read it i was only skimming... i've been avoiding some very tempting aspects of the game (hack) to prolong the whole experience... but the Dataport implant is almost healed & i read it again tonight... thx chummer!  - quite a few things make more sense & questions were answered. i will be working on the FAQ later tomorrow night, only updating the first post. after a time i might compress the volume, or start a second. depends on the whim ;D gonna check out new NBZ a little more tonight instead.  |

yeah, i was thinking about that a little earlier... how useless it will be and how soon that might happen. (trying to tame OCD impulses) i'll try to worry about esthetically pleasing stuff later (if i can help it) and go more for function, i have a pretty good amt not even up im finding myself working the [FAQ] as i play & read... even though i planned not to LoS - they say to write like how you'd speak, it worked for me. *thumbs up* |
