Wow! You are so right. Tamlin looks three dimensional compared to the other 3. Same techniques applied to Vraes will definitely raise his cool factor. You are in the same situation with the IAP characters and Selen (So glad you picked her first).  |

John Robinson - thank you  I am very excited to see what kind of reception Tamilin will get, but a little worried that it will generate a lot of "what is up with the other 7?" reactions from new players. As johndramey pointed out on Patreon, it is simply a milestone in how far my art has come. Heroes used to be my cutting edge. Now there are major updates to make!

fallen I agree with your instincts, first impressions are so important. I'm guessing you are currently selling more copies of the main game than the IAP's. Maybe you should skip putting the next ones to a vote and redo the Wizard and Kyera? Hoisted on your own art petard, haha.

John Robinson - the votes are fun, and Vraes deserves it  Fyona is the most popular IAP character -- but that is arguably because she has the newest art. That would lead me toward "redo the oldest" mentality, which means Selen would be up next after Vraes, which is actually pretty close to order of original creation! That said, the votes are fun, and I think I will put it to a vote again when Vraes is done.

I gotta say, Tami's new art is absolutely, 100% gorgeous! It's easy to see between BF and the new HoS art just how far you have come as an artist.

Turd lip should definitely be in ST2. I mean, update his art all you want, but it should be recognizable as old turd lip! Yeah, I said it on the Patreon post, but I'll put it here too. Your art has improved amazingly. I mean, I remember back when TA got updated with HoS style sprites. At the time, that was massive and cool. Now, fallen is looking at HoS and thinking "man, this stuff needs an update." Huge improvements! Not only that, but getting Martin on board was such a great idea. Martin's work is top notch! So jealous of you right now, Brutus Aurelius! I know my BF portrait is coming down the pike, but I want it now!! haha. |

I really wanted to join the Battlforce alpha at the level where you could get your picture in it, but I knew having a sheep head for a captain would have been just too weird |
