Several of the questions are basically the same, just asked in a different way. Others are pretty much a split between good or bad. There is some merit to these types of personality tests, but like you already noticed, just one different answer can change the whole outcome. There are also ones that can have multiple answers, so a choice like "All the above" should be included in my opinion. My sister was taking psychology classes in college and was trying to use them on me. After reading the first one I saw the flaws and purposely chose answers I knew didn't match me. It even impressed her teacher to the point that he wanted me to join the class just to screw with everyone. I give these type surveys about 70% faith. Really the best way to use these is to start with it, then actually follow up with someone trained in psychology. However if like me you know how to do these in your favor, you can turn the tables pretty easy on some poor shrink

Think I'm going to redo the entire D&D one, put in answers according to when I was in my physical prime, while keeping the more mental/social/moral stuff as I am now. See if I come up with a superhero/supervillan lol.

Well I got it to say...
Neutral Evil Dwarf Sorcerer (6th Level)
Ability Scores: Strength- 19 Dexterity- 20 Constitution- 19 Intelligence- 20 Wisdom- 20 Charisma- 19
Alignment: Neutral Evil- A neutral evil villain does whatever he can get away with. He is out for himself, pure and simple. He sheds no tears for those he kills, whether for profit, sport, or convenience. He has no love of order and holds no illusion that following laws, traditions, or codes would make him any better or more noble. On the other hand, he doesn't have the restless nature or love of conflict that a chaotic evil villain has. Some neutral evil villains hold up evil as an ideal, committing evil for its own sake. Most often, such villains are devoted to evil deities or secret societies. Neutral evil is the best alignment you can be because you can advance yourself without regard for others. However, neutral evil can be a dangerous alignment because it represents pure evil without honor and without variation.
Race: Dwarves are known for their skill in warfare, their ability to withstand physical and magical punishment, their hard work, and their capacity for drinking ale. Dwarves are slow to jest and suspicious of strangers, but they are generous to those who earn their trust. They stand just 4 to 4.5 feet tall, but are broad and compactly built, almost as wide as they are tall. Dwarven men value their beards highly.
Class: Sorcerers- Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.

Ok after spending too much time playing with it figured out a few things. Human is heavily favored. To get another race you have to pick most/all the answers that boost them and get a higher score than for human, a tie will result in human. Attribute max is 20. Some of the controlling questions as with the racial ones are difficult to spot. Classes are limited to single or dual class. Highest score determines class. Only if 2 or more classes have same high score will you be dual classed. There is some preferential ordering at work but determining what favored classes for dual class are would take more time than I'm willing to spend on it. Easier to just figure out the 2 classes you want and then find the correct answers for adjusting their scores. For fun I did get 6 classes all to a score of 14 and with more tinkering might be able to get a 7th there but really pointless with the dual class limit. Level is entirely dependent on last 2 questions. Max level is 10th or 5th/5th gained from highest age with a lot of life experience for age. Wasn't really messing with alignment but did happen to hit on true neutral with initial answers making it easy to sway either to good or evil. I seem to lean a bit towards the chaotic side so could probably get Neutral Good, Chaotic Good, True Neutral, Chaotic Neutral, Neutral Evil or Chaotic Evil with little effort and staying close to my true ethics/moral code irl. (Dislike for politicians and strict adherence to laws that don't serve a real purpose in ordered society as far as I'm concerned more or less keep me well away from the lawful side of things lol.)
Anyways was a fun diversion for a while, reminded me of the fun I've had over the years making characters and how little I cared about any sort of alignment system in RPGs. Let players do as they wish and deal with the consequences. Seldom are people in real life easily categorized into neet little "alignments", part of being human and having a society. If you grow up with cannibals then eating people isn't morally/ethically wrong for your society. Placing my cultures values on others is where much of the worlds conflicts come from. Hopefully peaceful examples of the benefits of my culture will sway others to my point of view, but using force to impose my values isn't right. As they say two wrongs don't make a right. Anways time to get back to HoS and my latest attempt at NMI.

In not game related news, my blood pressure is up to unhealthy levels. Woooooooooooo I'm gonna say what I know about it, hopefully it's not unwanted... Tested remedies include: Getting up for 5 minutes every hour has recently been shown to improve circulation and bp and mitigate sedentary job risks. Oatmeal and other fiber rich foods. Omega 3s (I prefer walnuts) Vitamin C and other antioxidant rich foods. (I like strawberries) Maybe reduce (but obviously not eliminate) stress and caffeine.

Great tips, wascalwywabbit ... the first one and last ones are where I'm failing right now. Early in the day I remember to take breaks but as the day goes on eventually the only thing that will make me get up and stop working is the searing pain in my right arm. Stress and caffeine are absolutely my biggest fail in terms of taking care of myself. I love oatmeal and usually add strawberries and walnuts to it. Sounds like we'd enjoy brunch together =) I don't know if I love oatmeal because it is healthy or because it is super easy to make and doesn't upset my stomach. Either way, I eat it almost every day because it is ... good for me? For D&D I'm a Level 1 Houndmaster =)

Please be careful Cory Trese. That arm pain is not a good thing. I also have a fondness for oatmeal, but will go months without even thinking about eating it and then, BAM! I can't get enough of it. Honey oat muffins, peanut butter oatmeal cookies made with whole wheat flour, I start thinking all the ways to cook and eat it and go nuts.
