God Emperor*, you faithless Heretic. does he or she command a thousand ships? NO. I mean this is entirely plausible with enough time and money.Does he or she have designs to conquer the Quadrant? NO. That's not the right attitude. |

I had to laugh out loud when I saw the idiots at Game's Workshop carpet bombing their IP so they could have copyright-able names for their stupid little minifigs.
I would shed no tears if that greedy, backwards pack of lawyers died a slow and terrible death at the hands of economic realities.
Although that isn't going to happen anytime soon, not while there are gullible indie developers lining up around the block to take their IP out for a spin.

Otherwise I completely agree, while it could be entertaining, I'm probably never going to play the tabletop game. The only thing I'm interested in is the Lore and the Novels. |

That's not the right attitude. Man-Emperor of Mankind. He isn't a god. As for the tabletop games, I really want to play either Deathwatch or Only War. The lore is fun to read sometimes. Other times it is ridiculous. Even for a setting that was supposed to be over the top and ridiculous from the get go. |

The depth is what makes it great. The simplicity is why you're famous. Go figure. Leave a little space for our imaginations...I think that sci fi love is the common thread connecting us all here.
