Just curious what people were choosing for vraes for the monestary reward. I'm torn between the armor and 1h sword.

I would have chosen the armour if it wasn't for the -2 accuracy.
The armour level is intense!
But I love his spear instead. No longer needing sp for vraes, and hello ferocity attacks!

cowboypete - great choice! Depending on your Vraes build, the armor is near irresistible. For example, if you're a Berserk Rager, you'll be so happy to have that thing backing you up. -2 Accuracy goes against your standard dice, and I doubt you'd feel a difference unless you're missing already.

IIRC, I'm rolling with -3 or -4 Acc plate on Vraes right now. It isn't a big deal. -2 would've been an actual improvement  |

I ended up going with the 1h sword. The armor was very tempting but in the end I decided that vraes really didn't need help in defense (at least in my group). His offense has never been great so I thought the sword would be more of a help --- boy has it ever!

Forgive my confusion, where should one go to claim this reward? I defeated C8 with VVFS, got some dialog about Cortias being defeated, and have got a shattered sword. Should there be something else? Or is that for much later when I find a Smith?

Or is that for much later when I find a Smith? What did you pick as Fyona's reward from C8? Check you quest log. Ask around at any smiths. You'll get advice and should be able to find someone who can reforge the blade. Especially if you have a very special hammer (but not required). |

Glad to be back and enjoying the new content, great storytelling as usual. Cortias did not propose any rewards after the big fight, he just dropped a broken blade. I'm guessing the rewards for Vraes and Fyona are given at the Smith? Krakun has a sudden faraway look. He darts out of the room and comes back with the look of a sheep caught in the rain.Whoops, did I say Fyona? I meant Kyera. My bad. I'll go and lay my head on an anvil. |

krakun - whew, ok  I would be dismayed if you had Fyona but missed her reward. Sounds like everything is good and you just need to go smith hunting!

I'm guessing that, as with Oskahold, Vraes' weapon depends on his current weapon (here: a 2ap 1 handed blade)? The Smith is proposing a 1 ap dex based blade. Is that what you intended? |

I had not noticed that there were more than two options (S5 mini, making it more obvious for idiots like me might be a candidate for future improvement). As a quick fix, might I suggest to change the text from "select one relic" to "select one on the eight relics"?
