Glad you're gonna buy the IAPs. You'll find the designer IAPs are awesome. I haven't bought the reward unlocks because I know I can achieve them - sooner or later. But the other options are very useful and add a new dimension to an already multi-dimensional game!

Yeah I have dreams of building my first custom xeno machine! As well as many other models...
The character builder seems like it makes the game easier to start, though I forgot and started a new Crazy campaign before I checked it out. He got his Templar 10 AU away within weeks so I can't ditch him now lol
At any rate, it looked like you get a massive boost on the turn clock with all the extra starting xp?
Cool side note, the blackheart fiasco led me to a ship I hadn't starred with yet, and thus a new strategy I'm using now.

I'm glad my antics taught someone how NOT to fail at least.  I bought all but the Unlock pack, and the one I use the least is character designer. It'd make my life easier, but I'm a firm believer that everything is playable in some shape or form if I just stopped being such an uncultured heathen. Of course, that was before I failed so much as a Military Officer (I kid, I all ready had proof that I was the worst MO Cadar ever had, but a badass Steel Song smuggler)... Anyway, the ship designer is pretty impressive, but if you haven't all ready I'd try to unlock the Tempus Fugit-- that ship is amazing at Crazy and higher since you can surrender all day and not catch almost any flack... |
