Yeah it can be really painful hearing from players that they purchased the game from a pirate market and are unhappy about malware / ads / lack of updates and I have to break it to them they don't own an authorized copy of the game. You won't be surprised to learn most pirate markets don't do refunds Yeah that's pretty obvious

The only real markets you can get our games on that pay us are: - Steam - Google Play - Apple App Store - Amazon App Store - You can buy Steam keys from Bundle Stars / PlayField / Amazon
All other are pirates and if you pay, then you aren't helping to support us. Hope that is helpful!

Hope that is helpful! I know that, but as I said my device is blocked in playstore and it is normally playable on stock not even talking about cm Our research has shown that the game doesn't perform up to our requirements on that device. We worked closely with the Cocos2d-x engine team as well as other developers and, as a group, decided the only solution to the stability issue was to filter it out in Google Play and Amazon App Store. As far as I have been monitoring other developer's issues, the stability of that device has not improved since the time of the original decision. I do not know if CM helps or hurts the stability of that GPU. However, Google Play does not allow filtering of OS or ROM, so no matter how Google Play looks at it, it can only see the device class and thus, even if CM did somehow work around the hardware issue, it would still not be something we could filter for in Google Play based on how Google wants Google Play to work.

Actually Google play gets read only access to build prop file to filter what suits and what not, but in cm we have different way of dealing things, so we have a lot of different drivers, setups and that shall be a huge performance difference, for example we use caf drivers instead of legacy, so overall huge improvement in performance just on that...

On the 2.6.13 release for iOS you mention a mine 8 upgrade? I haven't been able to find it.

And normal star traders works normally BTW and I have played other your games on this phone too Star Traders, Cyber Knights, Age of Pirates and Templar Assault should all run on the Samsung Young device. However, our Cocos2d-x games (Heroes of Steel, Star Traders 4X, Templar Battleforce and Star Traders 2) will not run on it. We've worked with other developers, Google and the Cocos2d-x team to try to resolve the issue but unfortunately there is something wrong with the GPU that Samsung cannot address without a hardware change. I wish there was more I could do, I'm sorry. TB demo works perfectly on stock, I'll check HoS. BTW how far to st2 release?

And regarding a general availability date? We have no idea how long the 1,712 Kickstarter backers are going to need for the alpha test! We're really aiming now to get the game done and to the Kickstarter backers ... after that, the release schedule depends a lot on how long the alpha period takes.

It will be our largest alpha every with over 225 players!
