NO, MS is still appropriate in particular circumstances. Note, I do like LIme, NUtmeg and Xi yang shen (aka American Ginger). It actually is very challenging on the pallet, but those confident in the flavor balance will be okay.
Now Malt, Apple and Coffee are an interesting combination. it tastes like absolute crap, but people swear by it and go on buying the newest addition of the recipe. I hear that Malt, Apple, and Coffee El Capitan is awesome. But not with a capital O.
