Maybe you went outside of the bounds of the Award before reporting to the Palace. I can only guess and test -- and I've got the Award twice without issue on two different Android OS with fresh installs. I still don't understand. The contract stats I stated were those I had when I went to the palace. Did you try testing it when you had 30+ contract expirations? Anything else I can try to get the award or do to get you more information? Maybe my phone is just messed up lol. |

I'm just saying, are you sure you're getting the Award criteria right. I doubt it is a phone issue, but who knows!!!

Award criteria is to complete 50+ contracts, rejecting <42 and failing <7, and that's it as far as I know. I'll try again without so many rejections and see if it makes a difference. I'll send screenshots too. Worse comes to worse, I can just buy the award unlock pass after completing everything else and getting the criteria for 350 contact award (hence I won't feel like I'm cheating). It isn't the end of world if I'm the only one having this problem EDIT: Lol, does anyone know how to attach a screenshot?  |

Just got the award on a new captain. For this captain I had let only 1 contracts expire, failed 5 and rejected 12. The only real difference was far fewer expirations (1 vs 33) and more failures and rejects. I think I'm just gonna have to not let contracts expire in order to get the other contract awards. It's funny because i think i might have had a similar problem on my old device, which is why i had a feeling it had something to do with expiration. Would attach screenshots but i forgot how.

In order to attach a screenshot, you upload it first somewhere... Then in Reply, you click the picture icon and input the picture link. Easy as that.

Did you unlock Expert Contractor with this captain & these missions? Could the game have not liked you using the same 25 missions twice, once for the expert award and once for the exemplar?
Just thinking out loud here ....

That doesn't make sense. If you earn expert contractor, it has no influence on exemplar contractor.

That doesn't make sense. If you earn expert contractor, it has no influence on exemplar contractor. That's the thing about bugs. They are wrong, but at some level they are very logical. It would be easy to write code that only began checking for the Exemplar contractor for captains that had the Expert, even if that wasn't the intent, it just, ah, well fell through that way. We had some problem like that in Age of Pirates when it was brand new, if I remember correctly. But, as I said, no source code here, so I am just thinking out loud. |

I have earned all contractor awards up to the 150 contract award just correct multiple times. Truth is though that I had only two contract failures and 20 refusals.

I'm sure it is just a misunderstanding about what it takes to get the Award. I was able to complete it again and again in testing without issue.

Exemplar and Expert have identical expired requirements.
Thanks for the screenshots, I can update the Unlock text.
This is the first time any player has had issues with this, but an easy fix!
