Playing through on Normal I accrued points at roughly the same rate / amount as the first play through. A portion of the score is based on the sum experience of your 10 best Knights, dead or alive. As each level paid out a similar XP on both attempts, since I played them in a similar manner, my score pretty much doubled. I also had a background improvement since I had 10 Knights from the outset, which helped with the points from average XP. If you are not losing / aborting levels then you should be seeing a steady increase in your score. The alternative is that maybe you are not meant to continue building points on NG+ and my second run had a score bug? Hopefully fallen could help in that respect?

The intention is that you can gain score up to your first full run-through of New Game+
Therefore, the highest scoring game start on Ironman and play thru the campaign twice.
Looking back, we might have done this differently at the start, but it can't really be changed now.

Thanks for the clarification. At the time I remember thinking that its a shame the cut-off isn't after the first run, scoring twice felt a bit like cheating because it takes the leaderboard away from everybody who does not have time for multiple runs. Didn't feel bad enough to curtail my playthrough though - hypocrite! lol Vae Victus
