You are probably killing the target. Sad. Go buy a shock glove of some sort (they are blue). Then proceed as usual, kill all the protectors, and put on your shock glove. Go knock out your target.
Let us know that this works.

Welcome to the forum.
Capture missions are difficult in CK because to successfully complete the mission you must defeat the target with ONLY MP damage. That is to say, you must knock the target out (not kill them.)
The best way to do this is with a taser / shock glove, brawling or luck. It can be very useful to hire Thugs for this type of mission.
Runners are coming as soon as we get the finished artwork for the Hacker, Shooters, Corp. Men, etc. In the meantime we're busy testing the various stories set to release ASAP

I hate to correct the creator of the game, but you can actually shoot holes in your capture target. As long as he only falls over due to MP damage it doesn't seem to matter that you initially shot holes in his legs to keep him from running away -- which, so far the idiots aren't doing. And as for brawling -- well maybe its that my skills are so low, but wearing brown gloves I always kill the target. Get the blue ones. Yakashima sells the best sort in Boston Common -- maybe other places have them for sale too.

Correct us when we are wrong. I agree -- he has to be taken out from MP damage, but you can reduce the target to 1 HP if necessary.

Correct us when we are wrong. I agree -- he has to be taken out from MP damage, but you can reduce the target to 1 HP if necessary. I find doing that unusually satisfying, but maybe not really necessary.
