mal - wow, great work. That was a bloody grind for sure. The first half was well earned Shared and +1! Thanks man, it is a longer mission. But well worth putting the Templar Core through their paces. Part 9 - Hallways of Lavender Blood After setback upon setback, we finally start to nail down victory. At the cost of some of my more veteran lineages though.

Part 10 - Pyrrhic Victory The end of 30 miles of bad road. More xeno corpses than I believed were possible on a level. More dead templar than I really wanted. We revise our tactics at the end, realizing we need to use the -MP armor for more heat reduction.

It was a busy weekend. Looks like I have some catching up to do. Doesn't sound like it went well for your squad. Sorry.

Ouch! That was painful. I can't believe you haven't unlocked the early Engineer reactor that gives +1mp and lots of extra heat. That gear is absolutely essential for this mission. It's also great for your Hydra in later missions.

The Xeno try to ride the Mal Express Elevator to Bullet Hell.

mal - shared and +1 as always! Thanks for such enduring promo of our game Very nice work on no deaths this time! In the end, how did you find the heavy -MP armor? Worth it?

I found the -MP armor to be worth it. I still need engineers to deal with the heat of Ironman, but this helps assuage the problem. Bottom line - I will take anything to ward off shutdown for a couple of extra turns. Part 12 - Desert ReignDefending Prince Tarquin, we make a run through a valley that is completely overwhelmed with Xeno.

13 - Siege the Tundeer The Xeno refuse to pay rent to Tundeer. Tarquin hires the Templar Repo Knights.

mal - impressive plays on both levels, both are very challenging! Shared, +1, the works! Thanks buddy The Siege of Tundeer is a great longer level. I am really appreciating yours ( and Corey's) ability to design levels with respect to game mechanics. I can tell you played through the level a lot and made a bunch of tweaks for movement and pacing of the level.

mal - lol, and by "played thru" you must mean "got murdered by" I really appreciate the compliment. We've both learned a lot about level design over the years. This will sound weird, but I enjoy how you place, consider, and re-place OW templates so often. I can just hear the gears ticking. I've watched probably more hours of you playing Battleforce than anyone else ... yeah, actually, that's guaranteed at this point. You are an impressive Templar commander.

This game is great at kicking a player's butt. But unlike other games, I always understand why I am losing, which is a must for games. About hearing my gears ticking for OW templates : This game just makes sense to me and I enjoy taking advantage of the rules, I am glad that comes through in the LPs. Thank you for being there, since day 1. I have never been treated with such support and care by any developer before. You inspire me. I hope to someday make some games of my own that accomplish a similar customer support regime and are as much fun. Part 14 - Xeno Suffocation The Terrox decide that they need more xeno when they send in xeno. We also secure the second set of gates and get more Templar
