Hi, Just trying to understand the meaning of this talent.
So it gives +x all melee skills. This means it adds +x melee accuracy and +x melee defence. Both are standard dice.
For levels 6+, it also adds +y accuracy. Does this additional accuracy gives strong dice or standard dice? From the combat thread, it implies standard dice since this is a buffed accuracy.
e.g. Level 10 should provide +16 melee accuracy and +11 melee defence - all standard dice.
Am I correct?
Thanks.

You are correct here. The only strong accuracy dice in the game is the accuracy found on a weapon or a direct hitting skill/spell. Any other accuracy sources will be standard.

Correct, all standard dice. Late in the Talent, the Accuracy dice bonus just outgrows defensive!

I don't want to create new thread so... IF min dmg + bonus strength dmg is higher than max weapon dmg what happens?

You do Weapon max damage. Damage on the weapon can never exceed maximum damage (before factoring in +damage). For this reason, you want weapons with damage bands that at least match your strength (or double it for 2h) in order to maximize strength efficiency.

I don't want to create new thread so... IF min dmg + bonus strength dmg is higher than max weapon dmg what happens? Maximum weapon dmg, no more... at least that's how it's supposed to work based upon what the brothers have said was their intent, I haven't tested for bugs. I haven't seen anyone else post it's otherwise either. So you won't gain additional dmg from str until you get a larger dmg band weapon with more headroom for the bonuses if you max its dmg range, you still get acc from str, parry too if you raise NM instead/also.

For this reason, you want weapons with damage bands that at least match your strength (or double it for 2h) in order to maximize strength efficiency. Let me be clear, as this is not in line with what other players are saying -- Physical amage from an attack of a weapon can never exceed maximum damage -- that is Base + Weapon Damage + (physical) Damage bonuses from Gear & Buffs. Let's say you have a 2H weapon that does 10-30 Dmg. You have 10 Strength. Therefore, you are going to do +20 Dmg from your Strength, meaning you will always do 30 Dmg. If you had 8 Strength, you'd do 10 (26) - 30 Dmg, indicating that any roll below 16 on the dice is raised to a 16. If you raised your Strength to 11, you still only do 30 Dmg maximum, because that is the weapon's maximum damage -- it would be written as 10 (30) - 30 Dmg. If you equip the Gauntlets of Ultimate Crushing which adds +10 Dmg, your Strength bonus is given room to work, and you can now cause 32 minimum Dmg and based on the dice roll you might get 40 Dmg, written as 10 (32) - 40. Hope that makes sense. You are not wasting Strength bonus Damage as long as your Weapon + Damage bonuses from gear/spells align.
