Definitely don't skimp on sleep, but don't forget to stretch everything out. Worst thing after any joint injury is to let it atrophy. No busting stitches or any other unreasonableness, but do something to keep the blood flowing. Only thing worse than the knees is the ankles. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Good news today. I can finally start unlocking my brace when I'm sitting and can now start doing some bending exercises at home. So far so good on healing up.

Cory Trese, minimum 6 months. By three months though I should be out of the brace and able to start doing a lot more. May even get to go back to work.
