The Righteous Fallen (admittedly stolen from Templar Battleforce, but still an awesome name.)
Or maybe link Righteous with something a bit more positive like: Righteous Prosecution, Righteous Vengance, ...

My starting Templar Defenders are usually named things along the lines of Zealous Blade, Stalwart Shield, Righteous Bulwark, etc. My Explorers get names like Candleflame, Piety,and Insatiable.

Years of playing Space Empires has me immediately name ships after different animals.
Ants, wasps, etc = small fighters
And then the animals i use get bigger depending on ship size.
Sounds pretty wicked when you say you have 2 wolves, a honey badger, and a bear in formation around a xeno planet.
(Been playing again in preparation for a Let's Play series using Steam version.)
I wanted it to be an interactive Let's Play...but my laptop hates me.

I build a refuel carrier and call her Molly Pitcher; and a repair carrier that (depending on my mood) is either Nightingale or Nurse Joy.
For the life of me I can't figure out how to build a Thulan cutter. Research complete, but it never shows in the list.
