hi all.
I'm not very good at remembering all those info popup messages that appear
all the time. I've got it set to long time but still find it too quick for me.
is there somewhere you can view the most recent messages?
if not I think this could be a good new option ?

There is an option to extend the duration of screen notifications based on the type.
You will find the list of options at the bottom of the options page (which is, I realize, getting to be a bit too long.)

thanks. yes I have set those to long.
I particularly miss the messages when entering a station. says stuff like the captain notices......
think they are trade related but don't get time to read and remember them

Yeah, I remember thinking "Hey, why not ask Cory to put those notifications into the Captain's Log?" but was immediately shot down by myself when I see the horrendous and copious amount of information already written inside... ;D

Oh ... if you have a message that pops up when you arrive at an urban area, it's the captain acknowledging a rumor.
You'll see that same rumor on the right-hand side of the main "urban/wild" screen straight after the location description.
The rumor will also appear in the "Rumors" section (status --> cargo --> rumors).
