I think the title is self explanatory. I'll start. First mission I get to choose is plating quadrant postman to Indy space. Red Zorga level 5 Only choice is to try and run. Xeno closed and boarded and result was an epic bloodbath. I got to play for a whole 12 turns. Lol

Started as Cadar (experimental purposes. No better test subjects that involve deadly tests than Cadar). Instantly came across a Steel Song Pirate (first ship I come across).
Died to him.
Learned my lesson. There's no excuse to use Cadar. Not even if the sole purpose is to kill him.
Never mind the fact I died to a pirate in like 20 turns...

You've discovered the true reason all the Cadar fanboys hate the Song. They all die to them regularly.

After a particularly nice haul my explorer was limping back to port(had 5 crew left) and a Rychart pirate I thought could be torp'd into surrendering....took out my engines and took my loot. Captain died in the next encounter just above Thulun prime.

I don't get killed by Steel songs, they are the ones that try to kill me every time though! They always fail.

Embarrassing ST deaths? Well, there was that time I thought my level 50 Merchant could make a good alien hunter...

I don't see much else that you could do with a level 50 merchant. After level 50 it's the only thing to do. I feed all of my captains to aliens eventually.

Yeah... There's no use in living much longer when there's nothing left to do... The huge disadvantage of being immortal.

You guys have it all wrong. That's not embarrassing, that's how the game was designed. (Cory's a little sick) Embarrassing is when you die to an inferior level captain with 276 xp still unused. Curse my obsession with boardingreat the boats, looting them and leaving behind the original Cadar calling card.

Sick would be I had enough money for ST2 to get my sheep loving crazy ass captain in the game.
Embarrassing would be losing to said captain. Imagine having to tell your friends you lost to a ship called Mary's Little Lamb.

ntsheep I played another online game that involved PvP style play. I named my character Pinkfluffybunny. You explain to the rest of your guild that you keep getting resources stolen by a person named that.

That's funny, I lost a game once to a pinkfluffmuffin.
A very weird game. It may have involved alchohol, and possibly a lack of pants.
You know how it is, one minute you're playing an rts in the 90's, the next, you've been awake for three days and have no self respect because 6 year old Koreans zergling rush you every...
I think he beat me with drones. It was the nineties, don't judge me!

I hear the rumour of a very attractive shortage of a good I happen to have cached! Great! Exactly what I was waiting for. I race over there, load up and .... Wait. What do you mean that you forgot to stock this cache with water fuel?!

I don't use caches at all. I stack up only water fuel and weapons and this is enough for me.
