Hey.
I got a line on a Templar. Nice find for me. Problem is when I press the recruit button, it flashes (as it should) but there is not subsequent screen to actually recruit him. Is this a scrolling issue? I do encounter this issue with cut off text and such.

This is, I assume, the Templar Officer shown in the Star Traders RPG Manual. The rumor: "We have heard of a syndicate sponsored operation on Mountains of Kithogog-Bahn. Rogue traders have cleared out almost everything of value and anyone funding an expedition to Kithogog-bahn will be disappointed. The event is 0 AU [10,2] from here." |

Does it make a difference that I'm playing the free version? Yes. I suspect that is the issue, Templar Officer is an Elite only feature. I'll work on a fix. |

it's not an evil trick, you cannot have eveerything for free  (and frankly, with the enemy level cap 23 I am pretty sure you don't even need those elite only officers). Recently I downloaded Mount and blade warband demoversion, because I had an itch to play it, and found out that that it is pretty much the same as full version, you only have max lv 8, then it requires you to buy full game and there are no cheats. However, since it's a free demo, I cannot complain... After all, it's nothing Cheat engine wouldn't be able to solve to my happiness When it gets on sale, I will buy the full game... With the viking addon This game has nothing to do with Trese brothers... I just had to share this little event. |

Warband is great, but by the time it goes on sale maybe bannerlord will be out 😛

Yeah, I indeed cannot blame a guy for poating. I was trying to make the level cap raised to lv 50 or something, because the free version just got too easy for me even on impossible difficulty.

I'm having the same issue but I do have elite. It only appears to be the wilderness officers rather than the palace ones |
