Errr ... like what? Rumors are generally transitory, and details are stored in the Rumors folder. Dry Docked ships are important ... but you can find them by going to Status --> Ship, then scrolling down Likewise, equipment caches (Status --> Cargo, then scroll down). Finally, the only other thing that might be interesting that changes from game to game is the contract details. You can, of course, see the contract details in the contracts section. From time to time you come across a particularly useful upgrade or ship for sale, but if you don't go back within a few months, the opportunity is lost, so making notes of that is a little pointless. Finally ... if you are interested in planetary details (eg hazard / explore / harvest scores), there is an awesome spreadsheet that Ehcamp (Doc Liz) created a while ago: startradersrpg.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=downloadattachmentpage&board=tips&thread=226&post=1375It's one of the most valuable spreadsheets that ST RPG has ever been shared

I think leaving a ship behind is a good way to mark someplace as worth returning too.
I think this might be part of your request for custom entries to the log, right slayer?

thanks slayer :-) will check that out.
thanks Cory. that would only work though where you have the dry dock available wouldn't it?
the few times I've wantedd to do it was for wild only planets that I wanted to explore. so had to do a screen shot of it
cheers dan

For wild planets, throw something (1 unit of W/F for example) into a cache. That planet will forever have a cache record under your "Cargo" section.
Even if raiders come and steal your booty (yeah, they can have that 1 unit of fuel), it'll still show up in your cached areas.
Also, using that spreadsheet, you'll have the planetary list. Once you have that planetary list (which I definitely need to throw into the wiki), you'll quickly know which planets you can waste fuel getting to and which ones are just not worth it.
Yeah, though, the custom Log entries (way back when) would have solved this. The dry-dock ship and cache records under Status all but obliterated the need though.
