We're going to make certain that this game can generate it's own documentation. This, for example, comes right out of the game's compiler.
So we can always post this report (or whatever it evolves into) for ships. We will do something similar for jobs/talents/gear/etc

The WIKI page is now competitive in amount of information displayed about each ship. It is better organized and includes a few more fields, mostly about max officers / crew of the Ship Hull vs. installed components (Max Officers 3 (5) indicates that you can currently have 3 due to Officer Cabins, and the max ever is 5). startraders.gamepedia.com/Starting_Ships

fallen is the Broadsword available in v1.0.27 as a starting ship or are you teasing us with that one? Wiki is looking great by the way. Oh and a random question, why is it that the larger the hull rating the lower the armor and shield values are? Seems a bit backwards as I'd expect larger hulls to be able to pack on thicker armor and stronger shield generators and not less.

The Broadsword is the first ship where the generator hits an invalid condition (BAD ENGINE, or something). At that point it stops. That means the 13 other ships don't print either. Broadsword is not a starting ship, and shouldn't be on the list. Will remove. We're working through sorting the rest of them out. Hull + Armor + Shields make up the final Effective Hull. You indicate that a larger hull would pack better armor, but a larger hull is also just bigger which would make it harder to armor in total. Balance.

So how much damage does 1 point of Armor soak? And how much Component damage does 1 point of Shielding stop?

So how much damage does 1 point of Armor soak? And how much Component damage does 1 point of Shielding stop? 1 Point of Armor Soaks 6% of damage. 1 Point of Shielding Soaks 3% of damage, after Armor.

Sorry for the confusion. Thulun has an excellent School of Stellar Architecture. Their library for Sentray II is one of the best in the known galaxy.
