What I am curious about is to what extent will boarding parties need to be able to heal each other. A Pistoleer/CombatMed/Doctor may be the hottest doc in the quadrants, but if two boarding party members are next to death, you may wish you spread healing around more. Or maybe that is just silly -- we will find out by doing. not a problem any more with AoE healing. yay! |

Crew-dog/Mechanic/Engineer Crew dogs start with +2 repair, which helps contribute to certain Mechanic and Engineer talents. Look what I found in my starting crew?  Get that woman an officer's cabin and send her to engineering school, quick! (she now also knows Mechanic) |

To me, AoE heal seems like a huge unbalancing factor. Making healing too powerful will remove viability of many other crew combat builds. Also, the enemy would use it and everyone would cry about that alot. I agree completely. In HoS Fyona is the only one with an AoE heal (Blessed Aura). If she didn't have to split her talent points this would also be a big unbalancing factor. If an enemy had 5 HP left and they could restore to full combat strength I would go nuts! I agree completely. In HoS Fyona is the only one with an AoE heal (Blessed Aura). Kyera stalks up to Balgair's table with an uncharacteristically angry glint in her eyes. He briefly catches the hint of writing on the parchment she slaps face down next to his mug. However as he reaches for it she raps his knuckles smartly with her staff before turning and stalking off. "I'm not just a walking SP battery you know!" She calls back just before exiting the room. When he regains the feeling and use of his fingers enough to finally retrieve the parchment he sees only two words written on it in her beautiful calligraphy "Purifying Breeze". |
