See, you just had to wait a few hours until the reasonable brother showed up. Rolling on the Floor laughing now.

Cory Trese , I thought Andrew yelled at you and made you copy/paste in the core code?

Cory Trese , I thought Andrew yelled at you and made you copy/paste in the core code? "Code faster, *&(*&, I don't care how you $%$## do it" ... that was my reasonable request

I like the idea of the "urgency" of missions being tied to pay rate, so shorter mission time (determined randomly) = higher pay.
If it's implementable, might I suggest have mission times scaled to difficulty? So say start at +50% mission time on Basic and gradually drop to -20% mission time on Impossible? Of course, what the "standard" length should be is the key thing to tweak.
One more thing... I'm assuming that later in Alpha, when offered new missions we'll have easy access to Map/Galaxy (with proposed mission location marked)? Right now it's kind of a crapshoot as to where I'll end up. In 1.0.19, I had taken a 6 hyper warp mission, then took another 4 hyper warp mission thinking I could finish it on the way, but it turned out to be on the opposite side of the Galaxy...

The first improvement promised along those lines is having the Contact tell you what quadrant the proposed job is in. More improvements as time goes on.
