I wonder if using twitter connections to ask for names from people who haven't seen the game yet or played ST1 would be a good idea. They are, after all, the ones we need to attract well enough to get the game downloaded. After that, it doesn't matter what we call it, they will be hooked for good, assuming they can be hooked at all.

I rather like Legacy by itself. A short title is easier to repeat, after all. Star Traders: Galaxies isn't too bad either. Simple is better. While the ST are indeed His legacy, not enough people are going to know what that means, who he is, or why Shalun is important. Shalun also isn't in this game, so calling it his legacy is misleading in a way. The way this game is set up, it becomes your individual legacy. Star Traders Legacy is short, sweet, a perfect title, and where my vote rests, should it matter. |

We need to attact the attention of people who want fighting and pirates! Besides, 'Legacy' says to me 'this old software we cannot throw away even though we badly want to, because it has outlasted it's usefulness'. In the IT world, 'legacy' == already obsolete, but you are stuck with it, sucker!! |
