Excited when I saw the tweets last night. Glad you've settled on a name that you like. I like it. Looking forward to the new graphics on the startup screen (personal note that I like the graphics layout, think it would look awesome using same with just the name change from 'Legacy of Shalun' to 'Frontiers'). Game Name: Hopefully can have a name that fits on Desktop, android, iOS (under the icon) without getting cutoff. StarTraders: Frontiers would be 'StarTraders:Fro...', but ST:Frontiers might fit? any thoughts? Game Icon: There is so much cool artwork within ST:F that I'm thinking the icon for the game could use something from within game to be a little more colorful/exciting than a ship in a starport? Could use some of the planet art, part of a galaxy map or sector map. Did a quick screenshot with an idea:  anyway, just 2 cents of thoughts. |

MintDragon - thanks for the post, we too are very excited! The eagle has finally landed. We're using basically the same title screen, but since Frontiers is a first class word in the title, the font size for the yellow text (Frontiers) has been increased. Looks beautiful to my eye  I looked around a little bit for the forumite who first suggested it, but couldn't find the post. If someone does, we'll give that wise person a prize  The current icon is draft only, tossed together quickly. It has to be way nicer than that! As you said, we've got so much art to use!

fallen thanks for adding me to the group. I spent a bit of time playing today. So far so good. My first encounter was with a Cadar Pirate (I was a Song Pirate!) and it went decisively in my favor. That's a great way to start! As for the name, I guess I won through pure brute force. The more names you suggest the better chance you have of getting one picked! For the record I like it better without the colon. But you guys have probably already weighed all the ins-and-outs of that.
