I realise the person who thought that 'Moklumnue' had 4 syllables probably doesn't have a kick coming, but it really is 'Grävling' not 'Gravling'. i.e. like 'Heavy' not like 'Having'. I'm a Space Badger, not a Grav! not a Grav! not a Grav! not a Grav! not a Grav! (there, I feel better now.  ) 'ä' in Swedish is not exactly like 'e' in English but it is very close. 'a' in Swedish, on the other hand, is really close to 'a' in English. |

I believe you once explained it to me that it sounded more like the e sound in "chevy" or "chevron" ... to my mind, phonetically spend grevling  Yes? I can be kicked, if I deserve it! |

Yes! But this is the wrong brother, the one who didn't make the twitch broadcast reporting in. As far as I know no kicks are required in your neck of the woods. |

All this time I thought it was pronounced like "grav-ling" instead of "grev-ling". I blame Cory Trese , because the STRPG ship "Darksail Gravling" has an "a" instead of an "ä", thus poisoning the way I'd pronounce grävling 's name before I even went on the forum  With grävling 's scary new avatar, I want to avoid getting on her bad side, so I'm shifting all the blame to Cory. |
