Probably just weird luck but I got a starting crew several of whom had the same last name. I understand the occasional siblings but it's hard to feel like my crew could continue if six of their literal brothers and sisters got blasted into space haha

Yeah, but Steel Song, for instance, has _lots_ of Seith. You could kill dozens hundreds of them and nobody would notice.

Cory TreseAfter reading the lore you guys just published got a bit of a question for you. The lorebook states that the Clans seriously frown on marriages between the houses, but in one game had a bunch of people with name Mullen show up either in my mostly Zenrin Crew or as Zenrin Contacts. However one Zenrin Prince with last name Mullen offered an introduction to his favorite known connection Javat Prison Warden who also had surname Mullen. Are certain names just common throughout Star Trader civilization without ties to specific factions or was this a rare case of someone having gotten past the social stigma of marriage across clan lines?

All seems fine with me. There is a huge list of common names throughout the Star Traders society. There are certain names that are heavily focused within Factions. As it is anywhere, having the same last name does not indicate relation. Mullen is a common name for Zenrin. |
